Two polymer clay videos this week- CHA Bottle of Hope awards part 2, and interviews.
I am going to break this post into two- just for the sake of archiving it for later. In this post, you can watch part 2 of Amaco’s Bottle of Hope awards. If you are not familiar with Bottles of Hope, check it out. Many of us have people in our lives who have battled cancer. Some have won, and some have lost. Bottles of Hope began when an artist covered a medicine bottle with clay and gave it to a cancer-stricken friend as a gift and an encouragement. Please check out the show, and you can also visit Amaco’s website where entries in this year’s Bottles of Hope challenge are being auctioned off to benefit the Gilda’s club of Chicago.

HI gals! I am listening to you on my new I-Pod. Thanks for the Pod Casts. They are informative and fun.
I was saddened to hear that AMACO will no longer be selling Fimo. I have been using Fimo since 1981. Classic is my favorite clay. Back in the 80’s there was only Fimo, no soft or classic.
Jane Linn, winner of the “Best Use of Fimo” is a member of Central Oklahoma Polymer Clay Guild http://www.okpolyclay.com/ and is new to polymer clay. She is a talented designer and a good friend. We are all very proud of her win.
I am a designer and sculptor living in Oklahoma. I have licensed some of my artwork to Sweetbrier Studio. The company makes solid silcone push molds for polymer clay. http://www.sweetbrierstudio.com/index.htm The company has attended the winter CHA shows for the last two years and the summer show last year. You might check us out when you get a free minute. It sounds like you are very, very busy.
Thanks again for the podcasts and info.
