Polymer Clay Podcast this Week Talking About Dye Ink

This Friday on Polymer Clay Podcast we will be talking about dye ink or alcohol ink. Dye ink is different from pigment ink and is alcohol based and it is used differently from pigment ink. I like to used dye ink to dye beads a different color and to change the color of the clay. I also have used them to paint directly on the clay to add color. There are many ways to use dye ink but remember it isn’t as easy to get off your hands so try to make sure to wear gloves when working with it if you don’t want to dye your hands too.
We will resume our regular instructional shows this week and in next weeks Polymer Clay TV we will demonstrate how we use dye ink. We will also have another episode of Polymer Clay Classroom available for download from our shop next Friday as well, where we show a project from start to finish.
