I was thinking about all the things I have made with polymer clay over the 18 years I have been creating with it. It seems I have never run out of things to make. Here is a list of the few things I have made with polymer clay. Necklaces,earrings,bracelets,anklets,pins,hair baubles,barrettes,incense burners, wine corks,vases, bookshelves,lamps,night lights, fan pulls,drawer pulls,candle holders,candlesticks, boxes, pens,bowls,sculptures, serving pieces and so much more. Those are just a few of the things I made with polymer clay. I did fine art & craft shows for over 10 years and have sold my work to people all over the world so I am always trying to come up with something new that I hadn’t done before. I think in life you need to push yourself to try new things, especially as an artist. Every show we will have something different that we hope will inspire you to be creative and try new techniques, projects and products. Kira and I work very differently and there is no right or wrong way to work with polymer clay so just let yourself and your hands do what they do. Some techniques you can master on the first try while some others take lots of practice. Find what works for you and go for it. As the saying goes practice makes perfect.
