Many thanks once again to all of our listeners and viewers. I am learning not only new cities and countries outside of the US, but also some interesting places inside the US that I had never heard of before. For instance, LuLu? Someone please comment and tell me where that is, I couldn’t find it on a search but I have got to know.
We had a listener from Seoul, Koreo today. Yesterday folks from Tesatice and Mistrovice in the Czech Republic, visited our site, and last Tuesday we had a visitor from Rome! Other cities represented in the last couple of weeks: Nastola, Finland; Terrugem, Portugal; Herten, Germany; Amsterdam, Netherlands; and many cities Israel and Australia. Our new friend Lynne Ann is going to Israel shortly to teach a round of classes there, and we have noticed especially on flickr.com, a flurry of activity in Israel with some very colorful polymer clay creations. Sarah Shriver, whom we spoke to a couple weeks ago about the Synergy conference, said that in her travels to Europe this year to teach, there was a lot of innovation going on in Polymer clay. She noted Germany as an up-and-coming place to notice, full of artists who are pushing the creative limits of the clay. She also said that in the world of polyclay, things seem to “see-saw”- with US artists sometimes doing really innovative things, and then it swings around and people in other countries become the innovators. So it looks like it is one of those times. Congratulations, keep up the good work, and feel free to share your beautiful creations in our flickr group.
