I am working to finish up the two videos, Polymer Clay TV & Polymer Clay Classroom that will be released this Friday and realized how much I have learned over the past months of creating the podcast and videocast with Kira. If you had asked me a year ago what I thought I would be doing a year from then, I most certainly wouldn’t have thought that I would be doing this. I am amazed by all the things I learn on a daily basis and have loved every minute of it. I have definitely learned that the world isn’t as big as we think. It constantly amazes me that people are listening and watching us around the world. This week alone we had visitors from French Guyana, Spain, Czech Republic, Pakistan, Germany, Portugal, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Phillipines, Croatia, Russia, China and of course the USA. Thanks everyone for all the support, it is really appreciated. When Kira comes up to my place to film on Saturday we will take all the things we learned in these past months and use them to make the shows even better. We want to keep learning, improving and growing and we hope you will join us. For those of you who do not know our shows are always archived, which means you can always go back and listen & watch past shows. If you go to the right sidebar on our website and scroll down to categories, you will see a listing for podcasts & videocasts and you can click on those links and you will be taken to where all the prior shows are stored.

In just the three short months we have been doing the shows we have met some amazing people and shared with so many people around the world our passion for creating with polymer clay. Polymer clay is a medium that is so versatile and can be adapted to almost anything. We plan to show you a variety of techniques and ways to use polymer clay to brighten your life with your creativity and with color. I have had to think about what inspires me lately as I write my interview for the guilds website http://www.pcagoe.com which will be on the website Sept. 7th and I have to say the single most inspirational thing to me has been color. I am constantly finding new colors to blend or make with the clay and finding new color combinations that wow me. I always start creating by laying colors out on my table and moving them around until I find the perfect fit. I guess you can say it is a little meditative when I sit down in my studio and start to create. I live out in the country and my studio view is of pines, oaks, birds, animals and insects and let me tell you there are some crazy looking insects out in the woods.LOL Believe it or not some of those crazy looking insects colors have been an inspiration for my designs. Look around you and there is inspiration everywhere. I encourage you to look at colors that you like and try to recreate them in polymer clay, there are infinite possibilities!
