Hope everyone had a nice weekend, I went bike riding yesterday at Oleno State Park with my family and it was so nice and the weather was perfect . We have so many things coming up and so much to share with you all. We will be attending and covering the Bead & Art Glass Fest which is Nov. 16-17  at the  Orange County Convention Center • West Building in Orlando, FL. Also the Memories Scrapbooking Expo is going on at the same time so we will be covering that as well so we should have lots of fun things to share when we get back. If you are planning on attending this event, please send us an e-mail or give us a call, we would love to meet up and get to know some of our listeners and viewers.  There is a $2.00 off coupon on the website, so don’t forget to print that out before you go to the show. We are lining up a bunch of polymer clay events as well so stay tuned for those.  Our newsletter will be going out shortly so check your inboxes for that, there is a valuable coupon in there this month. We also announce the 2 winners of this months prizes and will be contacting them soon so they can claim their prizes. If you haven’t signed up for our newsletter make sure to do so, we have a ton of goodies to give away and lots of new things we will be sharing. All newsletter subscribers are automatically entered to win our monthly prizes and you will also get the inside scoop on things going on with Polymer Clay Productions.

This month the theme for the Polymer Clay Artist Guild of Etsy challenge was to create something inspired by your favorite book and there were some amazing entries. The winner this month was Heather of  Humblebeads and you can check out her shop to see some of her great artwork. Congrats Heather!

This week we are talking about working with molds. Molds are a great way to create easy designs in polymer clay. We like to use molds to create pendants and embellish housewares. There are so many things you can create with a molded piece, just have fun with it and experiment. You can add powdered pigments to them as well as pigment ink and even dye ink,  I like to highlight the molded image to make it stand out. Make sure to come back Friday and listen to our discussion on molds. We also have an interview planned with Lisa Clarke from Polka Dot Creations you won’t want to miss.
