Polymer Clay TV & Classroom Tomorrow & Studio By Sculpey Polymer Clay News
We will be releasing a new episode of Polymer Clay TV and Polymer Clay Classroom tomorrow. You can always watch the show here at our website, on ITunes, You Tube, Google Video, Yahoo Video, Veoh, Myspace, Blip TV and a ton of other places. I share some of the ornaments I have made over the years as well as a few ornaments I received from a swap we did in the PCAGOE.
I also share how to get started covering those clear glass ornaments you see in the craft stores. They are a fun and easy project to make. If you waited for last minute to find a gift, these ornaments will be the perfect thing to make that everyone is sure to enjoy. I have made, given away and sold many of these ornaments and they are always a big hit.
In Polymer Clay Classroom, which can be found in our shop I share how to make your own solid clay tree ornaments and how to add a little bling to them by using Swarovsky crystals. These are fun to make and don’t take a lot of time to make but they look like you spent a lot of time creating them. WARNING, these ornaments are addictive and you will be making them for everyone, trust me I have made ornaments for every season. LOL Have fun!
I received an e-mail from Iris of Polyform the makers of Premo & Sculpey products and she said that the Studio by Sculpey clay will be available at Joann’s the first of the year with a MSRP of $2.99 for a 2.8 ounce bar. Kira thought that it was an expensive price but compared to what Michaels regular price of Premo is at $2.69 for a 2 ounce bar, I don’t think it is out of line at $2.99 for 2.8 ounces. I am sure everyone will have their opinions on the subject so feel free to send in any comments. Iris said she would keep us posted on the new clay so we will let you know when we have any more info.
