It is hard to believe we started Polymer Clay Podcast & Polymer Clay TV  9 months ago but when we started we had a ton of ideas that we wanted to bring to the table and one of them was live online video classes. Well the time has come and we are now launching a new website just for the classes, it is called Crafted Online http://www.craftedonline.com

This site will not just be for polymer clay classes but for a variety of mediums. We are open to classes on both arts & crafts and anything related to them such as running an art business. We are actively looking for teachers and will be on an ongoing basis. If you are interested in teaching with us you can fill out the online form at the bottom of the page.    http://craftedonline.com/teach-here/

These classes will give students an opportunity to take classes from the privacy of their own homes. How many times have you wanted to take a class from a teacher but couldn’t arrange the time off or didn’t have the money to travel and pay all the other expenses involved with traveling? I know I have had that experience but these classes will give you the opportunity to avoid all those other expenses and travel time because you can take the class from home.

We will also be archiving the classes so if you can’t attend the live class, you will still have an opportunity to watch the video of the class for a discounted fee as you will not have access to the teacher as you would with the live classes. The live classes will have a question and answer period as well so you will be able to communicate with the teacher.

We are really excited about this endeavor and hope that you will join us at Crafted Online. We are arranging the classes as I write this so check back frequently as we will be adding the classes to the site in a unique way.

This Friday on Polymer Clay Podcast Kira and I discuss our experiences at Synergy and the American Craft Council show. We did a lot of interviews and got a lot of footage that we will be sharing with you on Polymer Clay TV.  The best part of the experience for me was getting to meet all the artists in person and getting to admire their work and see it in person. Make sure to come back on Friday to listen to the discussion and magazines reviews we did.

The newsletter will be a few days late this month as it was a short month and all the traveling put us a little behind. Look for it in your inbox in the next few days because there will be a valuable coupon in it. If you have a spam filter, please make sure to add us to your accepted list so the newsletter doesn’t end up in your spam filter.  If you haven’t signed up for the newsletter you can do so on the right sidebar of the site. All of our newsletter subscribers are automatically entered to win our monthly prize giveaways. We have drawn 2 winners and they will be announced in the newsletter as well.

We also have a community that we would love to have you join. Just click on the pictures on the sidebar or follow this link http://www.polymerclay.ning.com  and it will take you to where you can join. Once you join you can share photos, your website, questions and comments. Plus we will have special prizes and offers just for our community members.
