I wanted to share a talented Canadian artist with you and you can see more of her work at http://www.cherylslittlecreations.com her work is so whimsical and fun and would make the perfect gift for any animal lover. Cheryl creates ornaments using animal themes and uses polymer clay to create them. These fun little sculptures will definitely bring a smile to your face.

This Friday we have a new episode of Polymer Clay Podcast. It is our 50th episode and we are very glad to still be sharing with you every Friday and are so glad you have joined us on this journey.  This week we do a book review and talk about creating and using magnets to make magnetic clasps. Kira is in Las Vegas at a Broadcasters convention so I will be posting the show this week.

We have been hard at work lining up teachers for our newest endeavor Crafted Online  We have over 20 teachers lined up and more signing up every day and they are working on a Voice Thread so that everyone can listen and watch it and learn more about each class straight from the teacher.  This is a new and exciting thing we are trying and we think you will really enjoy it. We plan to start the classes on June 2nd because June 1st is Polymer Clay productions 1 year anniversary and we are planning some fun things, so stay tuned for that.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend and that you are ready for another creative week. I am hoping to get some time to create in my studio this week, my husband is out of town and I have the house to myself. I will try to get some photos posted as I work on my projects.

This weeks featured member of the PCAGOE is Linda from http://www.nkdesigns.etsy.com

I wanted to share some of her beautiful work with you,Linda creates lots of heart pendants and a variety of other things. I am lucky to say that Linda sent me one of her pendants and they are even nicer in person. As most of you know Kira and I think sanding is like a four letter word but Linda’s pendants are beautifully sanded and finnished and are just so nice to touch.

Here are a few photos of her work, head on over to her etsy shop to see more of her work. Linda created a bunch of Bottles of Hope that were donated to cancer patients and their families, you can see some of them in the photo below. See more about this wonderful program in the post below and add some photos of the Bottles of Hope you create.

Looking forward to seeing everyones bottles. Thanks!

Tomorrow we have a new episode of Polymer Clay TV, the topic is making badge holders and things that you can not fire in the oven. This weeks episode is #49 which means that we have had a show every Friday for the last 49 weeks. I guess 50 will be a milestone but on June 1st 2008 it will be our one year anniversary. It is hard to believe that the last year just flew past.

I think that Kira and I have grown with the show over the past year and it has been a blast.  I would have never thought that this is what I would be doing a few years back. It has been an amazing journey and I have really enjoyed sharing it with all of you. I always thought that someday I would probably write a book but I certainly never thought that I would have a show that people would be listening to and watch ALL over the world. It is just such an amazing technological advancement and I love to check our site statistics and see that we had visitors from  the USA, Spain, Slovenia, Italy, Russia, Poland, Australia, Japan, Germany, Turkey, Israel, South Africa, China, The Netherlands and the list goes on and on. A big thank you to all of our listeners and viewers around the world!!!

One of the important things we considered when we started the show was that we wanted anyone to be able to listen or watch the show whenever they wanted to. Once the show airs you can always come back to this site and scroll down on the right hand sidebar and under categories click on podcasts or videocasts and you will be taken to all of our past shows. Polymer Clay TV & Polymer Clay Podcast will always be free to listen and watch. We also have premium paid content which is Polymer Clay Classroom and you can read more about that by clicking on the link.

Make sure to come back tomorrow to watch Polymer Clay TV, we have added some extra surprise footage for you to enjoy!

Don’t forget to sign up for our community, we will be featuring a new member every week!
