Polymer Clay Podcast Creating Easy Transfers PCAGOE Member Feature

This week on Polymer Clay Podcast we talk about several products that make transferring onto polymer clay easy and effective. Over the years I have tried numerous ways of transferring onto the clay with little or minimal success. I have had success every single time with these products. Make sure to come back Friday and listen to what we have to say about the topic. Next week on Polymer Clay TV we are going to show you how to work with these fabulous products to achieve success.

This weeks featured member of the Polymer Clay Artist Guild of Etsy is a very talented artist with an unusual style. I really like her sense of style and the way she puts her pieces together.  I also love that she gives her pieces texture and just looking at her photos I get the sense that I just want to touch her pieces and feel them in my hands. They have something about them that just makes me feel good. Her use of florals drew me in as I am a flower lover but her dragon had this old world leathery look that I just loved too. Needless to say I think you should http://www.jkollmann.etsy.com check out her etsy shop to see more of her beautiful work.

Kira and I have been hard at work on our latest endeavor over at Crafted Online. We hope you will spend some time exploring the site as many talented artists tutorials and classes can be found there also. If you have an idea for the show or something that you would like to see on the show, why not send us an e-mail, leave a comment or give us a call. We love hearing from you and really appreciate all the support you have given us. If you teach classes or have PDF tutorials and want to work with us over at Crafted Online, please get in touch with us as well.

I will be attending CHA the Craft & Hobby Association show next month in Chicago. Kira’s sister is getting married so she will not be going this time but Wendy of ClayCrazy is going to help out at the show. Kira and I are going to leave some press kits in the press room but we are having trouble coming up with the packaging of the kits. We thought or organza bags with our logo on ribbon but it does not thrill us. I also thought of sewing 2 pieces of felt together with a zig zag stitch and sewing on a polymer clay button but when I thought of making 150 of them, I was not so inspired.LOL

I am asking for your help with this, we want to include Polymer Clay Productions, Polymer Clay Classroom & Crafted Online all in the press kit. It should be as un bulky as possible since most people have to travel home with them and most airlines are only allowing 1 checked in bag now. We want to include a few sheets on 8 1/2 X 11 papers and would like to some how incorporate a polymer clay button or something crafty into the kit as a sample or into the pakaging. Please post your ideas here or send us an e-mail and if we use your idea you will win a subscription to Polymer Clay Classroom

We are looking for some unique way to get our message across so that people pick up and want to keep our press kits and hopefully give us some coverage in their venue. We know how creative you are and now we want to see it! Thanks!
