Polymer Clay Podcast Tomorrow Lots of New Things In The Works

I am hoping to play catch up today as I have been away from my computer most of this week. Tomorrow we have a new episode of Polymer Clay Podcast and our topic is the Amazing Mold Putty. This is the coolest product and I have to say it is my newest addiction besides silkscreening. I am molding everything I can get my hands on but mostly I have been molding my mothers cameo collection that is quite extensive. I think I have molded at least a dozen different cameos already and there are tons more. I will be adding them to our shop as soon as I can but you can make your own molds with this great product.

My mother was a big collector of beads and jewelry and was always on the hunt for new cameos which were her favorite. My mother had a thing for the hand carved cameos that were carved on real shells and shell pieces. One of the cameos I molded had a price tag still on it for $145.00, so I know that it was a one of a kind, it is so unique. It is amazing to see how many different styles they were made in and they were put into some really unusual settings too. If you like cameos stay tuned for those.

Next week I am heading to Chicago to attend the Craft & Hobby Assoc. show and Kira will be releasing a new episode of Polymer Clay TV and she will be showing you how to use the Amazing Mold Putty, so you won’t want to miss that.
