Finally, technology has caught up with one of our original VISIONS for this site- to seamlessly blend our free demo videos with a membership section full of even more tips, tricks, projects, and techniques! If you visit the “Join our Club” page, you can subscribe to our Video Library- which currently houses 50 full length projects, for only $37 a year.

Tonight, we are adding our Taking Polymer Clay into the Mixed-Media Dimension course- over 2 hours of video, 10 technique videos, and 2 full projects. You will learn everything we know about using everything but the kitchen sink with your clay. Then watch Ilysa build a Dream Journal and Kira build a Shrine- using paper, wire, beads, paints, glimmer mists, fibers, canvas, crystals, molds, and transfers.

And coming soon- we will offer each of our videos individually if you don’t want to purchase a library or course, and we will be packaging the library into smaller “chunks” for those of you only interested in jewelry or home decor type projects.

We are also working on some new DVDs, we just finished one more with Lynne Ann, and as always, let us know if there is anything YOU would like to see!

Well these two polymer clay superstars were both in Tuscon in February for the many goings-on that happen there revolving around the US’s largest gem and mineral show each year. Remember- even they believe you can still learn a new trick, even if you’ve been practicing the craft of polymer clay for many years. Visit Lisa and Lynne Ann! Hint, hint, they’re both on facebook, where we found this fun photo!

We are working on the content for our book! As you may have noticed if you are a subscriber to the podcast, we skipped a week. As 2010 begins, Ilysa and I have decided that getting published is going to take the front seat right now, and we need to concentrate on that so the podcast and videos will be bi-monthly instead of every Friday. We have been interviewing folks to be included in our book which is about polymer clay artists, their studios and communities/guilds, and we would love to hear from you- who would you like to have a glimpse of? As we assemble the interviews, we have room for a few more! Each interview includes photos of the artist’s studio, so please feel free- drop a comment, send us a ning message, facebook us, call, or email and let us know who you are interested in. We’ll let them know- and see if we can get them into the book too. Be sure to tune in this Friday, when we have a new podcast. We will be reviewing some business ebooks this week, and talking a bit about online business. Our website just got a fantastic grade of 96% from Website.Grader.com, which is an industry standard free tool that will let you know how your site is doing. It’s exciting, and it’s taken us a little over 2.5 years to get it all together. Ilysa and I started the PCAGOE in December of 2006, it’s hard to believe we’ve been friends and biz partners for 3 years now!
Let’s see if we can get Christi….

This week’s video is about the new Bake Shop clay by Polyform. They sent us all 12 colors and some tools to play with, thank you Iris! I gave my friend’s son, Charlie, some to play with and taught him basic mixing, blending, and even some caning- below you can see Charlie learning polymer clay, and the awesome starfish he made. It took him almost an hour to individually roll and press all the little suckers onto the starfish, isn’t it beautiful?

Thanks to everyone who listens and watches each week. We even had someone in France write a lovely post about us this past week, in French (so we couldn’t read it, but I tried to make out some of the words.) We’ve got no plans to stop, but we will be trying some new things this summer, so stay tuned.
