Hope everyone had a nice Mothers Day, I spent the day with my mom and I hope you did too. It was really windy yesterday and today here in northern, Florida. It is hard to believe it was in the 70’s today. The cooler the better as far as I am concerned. I am not a lover of heat and of course I happen to live in FL. Oh well, thank goodness for AC.
The newsletter went out over the weekend so make sure to check your inbox for it. There is an invite for our 1 year anniversary party on June 1st, from 3-5PM eastern standard time. Hope you will join us! We will be giving out prizes every 15 minutes but you need to be present to win. So we hope you will join us.
The member I am featuring today from the PCAGOE is Marcia Palmer. If any of you watch the guilds website, you will recognize her work as one of the monthly challenge winners.
I love Marcia’s unique style and I really like her color sense as well. Here are some photos of her work for you to enjoy. Make sure to stop by her shop to see more of this talented artists work. http://www.marciapalmer.etsy.com

This Friday’s episode of Polymer Clay TV is all about the new Studio by Sculpey clay line. Kira and I share some things we made with the clay and share some of the tools and how they work. We also have some footage of Donna Dewberry taken in the Polyform booth at the Craft & Hobby Association show in Anaheim, CA. You won’t want to miss this episode!
This weeks featured artist is Amanda of http://www.polyclarific.etsy.com
Amanda has such a unique style and it is always changing. I love the diversity of her work. Amanda lives in Australia and I am glad to say that even though there is a 12 hour time difference we have managed to talk via skype and get to know each other better. Here is a sampling of her work but check out her Etsy shop for lots more of her goodies!

Hope everyone had a good weekend and that you are ready for a creative week. I know I certainly am and tomorrow I am going on a hunt for some jump rings. Last week I was a busy beaver in my studio and I made so many new pieces that now I need to make them into jewelry. I will share some photos when I get something made.
Make sure to come back on Friday for a new episode of Polymer Clay Podcast, we will be announcing our big anniversary party. Make sure you are signed up for our newsletter or that you are a member of our community so you get an invite! http://www.polymerclay.ning.com
This weeks PCAGOE featured artist is Pippa of http://www.pipsjewellery.etsy.com. I love her style and designs and my new favorite piece of hers is this fantastic floral ring. I think it is so fun! One of the things Pippa loves to use in her work are leaves and you can certainly see that by checking out her website. I love the see thru heart and I have been experimenting with designs peeking through too and I just love it. Enjoy!

This Friday we will have a new episode of Polymer Clay TV, we will be showing how you can create your own magnetic clasps. If you have ever had trouble putting on jewelry magnetic clasps is the way to go. They are easy to make and incorporate into your polymer clay jewelry. There might be some bonus footage from some of the events we attended but you will have to check back Friday to see.
This week I wanted to share the work of a very talented artist and her name is Mary Ellen, we were lucky enough to get to meet her in person at the Synergy conference this year. ME’s work is so fun and whimsical that you will most certainly smile when you see it. I love her attention to the details and all of her animals are so great! You can check out more of her work in her etsy shop http://www.beetreebyme.etsy.com

Hope everyone had a nice weekend and that you are ready for another creative week. I am hoping to get some time to create in my studio this week, my husband is out of town and I have the house to myself. I will try to get some photos posted as I work on my projects.
This weeks featured member of the PCAGOE is Linda from http://www.nkdesigns.etsy.com
I wanted to share some of her beautiful work with you,Linda creates lots of heart pendants and a variety of other things. I am lucky to say that Linda sent me one of her pendants and they are even nicer in person. As most of you know Kira and I think sanding is like a four letter word but Lindas pendants are beautifully sanded and finnished and are just so nice to touch.
Here are a few photos of her work, head on over to her etsy shop to see more of her work. Linda created a bunch of Bottles of Hope that were donated to cancer patients and their families, you can see some of them in the photo below. See more about this wonderful program in the post below and add some photos of the Bottles of Hope you create.

This Friday we have a new episode of Polymer Clay TV, we have some footage to share from CHA, the Clay Fandango and we show you how to get started creating badge holders. If you work in an office these will be perfect for you.
I was thinking that I wanted to start some new features on the Polymer Clay Productions site. I have recently started featuring a member of the PCAGOE every Monday. I was thinking that to get to know the community better I would like to feature someone from our Ning community once a week as well. If you haven’t joined yet you can click on the link where all the photos are on the sidebar or follow this link http://www.polymerclay.ning.com
This will be great exposure for you and it will give you a chance to get the word out about your artwork and share it with everyone as we have thousands of visitors every week from all over the world. So what are you waiting for, all you have to do is sign up and it is free to join.
Kira and I have decided we want to give everyone a place to share Bottles of Hope that they have made with the community. We will be adding a slide show to the website where you can upload photos of Bottles of Hope you have created and we are happy to distribute them for you if you do not have a place to donate them to. These bottles are never sold they are given to cancer patients and their families. You can read more about this great program at this link, http://www.bottlesofhope.org
If you are in need of some bottles please feel free to contact us as we have some extras. polymerclaypodcast@yahoo.com
This week I wanted to share some of the work of Alissa of http://www.divadea.etsy.com
I love the series of goddesses she is creating and I wanted to share them with you. Her work is so whimsical and colorful and just fun to look at but of course you can always purchase her work at her etsy shop. Alissa also makes colorful buttons out of polymer clay that are perfect for that sweater you have been meaning to find buttons for so have a look around.
