Tomorrow a new episode of Polymer Clay TV will be released. You can check the show out by clicking on free videos at the top of this website, you can watch it on Itunes, You Tube and hundreds of places across the web. We love getting your comments so feel free to leave one anytime. Its hard to believe we are up to episode #141, where did the time go?

Kira and I always have something on our plate. We will be getting together in south, FL next month to film another DVD, we have something exciting coming, so stay tuned for that and make sure to sign up for our newsletter for specials and to be the first in the know. You are going to love what we have in store for you this year.

If you listened to last weeks podcast you heard us talk about some e-books, well you have an opportunity to win a copy of the e-books we reviewed so make sure to come back and listen to the next episode of Polymer Clay Podcast to see how you can win. These e-books are chock full of info.

On a personal note, I have been having so much fun in my studio and I am newly inspired. My mother passed away in November and she was a huge bead and jewelry collector for over 30 years (she taught me how to make jewelry at age 5). Well now I have her collection and have been going through everything and finding the most amazing vintage brass pieces and vintage glass beads that I have been adding polymer clay to. I am sure I will come up with a show to do on this technique.

I decided this year I was going to regroup and create things just for the heck of it and not because I think they will sell. This is truly when I do my best work. I decided that I want to incorporate things that speak to me and really examine the idea of mixed media in my work. So stay tuned for that, I will share some pics as I get things fired. Wishing you a creative day!

We are working on the content for our book! As you may have noticed if you are a subscriber to the podcast, we skipped a week. As 2010 begins, Ilysa and I have decided that getting published is going to take the front seat right now, and we need to concentrate on that so the podcast and videos will be bi-monthly instead of every Friday. We have been interviewing folks to be included in our book which is about polymer clay artists, their studios and communities/guilds, and we would love to hear from you- who would you like to have a glimpse of? As we assemble the interviews, we have room for a few more! Each interview includes photos of the artist’s studio, so please feel free- drop a comment, send us a ning message, facebook us, call, or email and let us know who you are interested in. We’ll let them know- and see if we can get them into the book too. Be sure to tune in this Friday, when we have a new podcast. We will be reviewing some business ebooks this week, and talking a bit about online business. Our website just got a fantastic grade of 96% from Website.Grader.com, which is an industry standard free tool that will let you know how your site is doing. It’s exciting, and it’s taken us a little over 2.5 years to get it all together. Ilysa and I started the PCAGOE in December of 2006, it’s hard to believe we’ve been friends and biz partners for 3 years now!
Let’s see if we can get Christi….
