This Friday we have 3 interviews to share with you on Polymer Clay TV. We have interviewed Jeffrey Lloyd Dever, Mike Devine and Grant Diffendaffer. You will love hearing what these guys have to say. They all have such different styles and it is great to see so many talented guys are now working with polymer clay. This is only part 1, so stay tuned for more “Men of Clay”.

Since our newsletter went out a little late, I have decided to extend the deadline for the Holiday Gift Guide until the end of the month to September 30, 2008. So if you want to participate, there is still time. You can send your photos to us at polymerclaypodcast@yahoo.com

If you would like to send some products for us to share on the show and to give away to a lucky listener or viewer, you can send them to us at:

Polymer Clay Productions, Inc.

P.O. Box 1527

Branford, FL 32008

Make sure to include your business cards and bios.

I also wanted to share with you some great news for Angela and her polymer clay group. They have been getting a lot of press for their Bottles of Hope. I hope more people will get involved with this great cause. Check out the website for more details and to watch her video.

This Friday we have a new episode of Polymer Clay Podcast but we are not sure what this weeks topic will be.  We had taken footage with Jeffrey Lloyd Dever, Grant Diffendaffer and Mike Devine at Synergy and we hope to air that on next weeks Polymer Clay TV. I have loaned out my camera and won’t be getting it back until later today so I have to locate the footage when I get it back. If I locate the footage in time then you will be seeing the men of polymer clay next week. We had lots of fun talking with these guys and getting to know them better and I know you will enjoy their interviews.

I know both Jeffrey Lloyd Dever and Grant Diffendaffer both teach classes, so keep an eye out for what they have coming up. Grant also has a book called Polymer Clay Beads.  Mike Devine is a NYC police officer and he is also an actor, you may have seen him on Law and Order as Officer Saunders. You might remember his award winning Bottle of Hope inspired by the book Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. I love that book as a kid and also loved Mikes interpretation. Make sure to go back and watch the video from the Bottle of Hope awards to see what I am talking about.

Make sure to come back Friday to listen.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend, in the USA we celebrated Labor Day and most people had yesterday off for a long weekend. I spent a lot of time in my studio this weekend working on some new projects. I am having too much fun and coming up with lots of new things that you will see on upcoming shows. Iris from http://www.polyform.com sent us the entire set of their Texture Makers and I love them! They are probably the best stamps I have used. Whatever they are made of did not stick to even the softest clay with using no release at all. I was impressed with the designs as they are so deep and quite fun. We will be showing  them and what we make with them on a future show, so stay tuned for that.

This Friday our topic is the new Creative Options bags, these are the coolest bags packed with lots of great compartments and on top of all the room and space they are absolutely adorable. If you are attending a retreat or class or just traveling, these bags are perfect to pack your craft supplies that you want to work with, there are so many compartments and lots of room.

Check out their site to see what I am talking about. http://www.creativeoptionscrafts.com

They have given us one of their special bags to give away to one of our lucky listeners and viewers. Make sure to come back next week to see which bag you have a chance to win on Polymer Clay TV. All you have to do to be entered is to either comment on the website or sign up for our newsletter. (there is a button on the right sidebar of this site). Hope you all have a creative week!

I wanted to share with you some of the cutest Bottles of Hope, they are made by Pamela and I know that whoever receives them will fall in love with them. You can check out more of her work at http://www.clayangel.etsy.com
