This Friday we have a new episode of Polymer Clay Podcast, this is a special episode because it is the 100th show. That means we have been producing a new show for 100 weeks straight. Wow! It has been a total blast and we want to thank all of our loyal and new listeners who support the show every week. Who thought that on June 1st of 2007 that we would still be going strong almost 2 years later. A big thank you to all of our friends around the world for making the show a success!

Make sure to come back Friday to hear what we have in store for you next. We will be rolling out some new and fun stuff and we have lots of great prizes to give out soon too.

Kira and I have been working on a new shopping cart for our sister site http://www.craftedonline.com

The shopping cart was malfunctioning and expiring links to the downloads too soon, so we made the decision to switch carts and boy has it been an experience. The new cart will have almost 1000 products to choose from. There are polymer clay tutorials, crochet, knitting, collage sheets, beaded and wire  jewelry, felt, glass and so much more! Make sure to check it out and join our social network over there, we have all kinds of exciting things on the way.

I think back to when I got my Ipod and I realize how it has changed my life. If I had not purchased that video Ipod I don’t think I would have ever thought to do a podcast and videocast, in fact I had no idea what one was when I came across it on Itunes. Boy was my curiosity peeked and I started to listen and watch everything I could get my hands on. What a fantastic medium to get the word out about what you are passionate about. Today I couldn’t imagine my life with out our amazing new friends we have met along the way and we hope that we bring a little fun to your week with our show, we truly love what we do and hope you do too. Thanks for an amazing ride, it is only going to get better!

Well its almost time for us to head out to the Orlando Clay Fandango. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone again. We will have tons of footage to share with you when we return. We have interviews planned with the teachers and of course demos as well. This year the retreat is being held in St. Augustine, FL on the beach. Its been forever since I have been to the beach. You would think living in FL that I would go all the time but to be honest I am inland and the closest beach is in St. Augustine which is about 2 1/2 hours away so there are no beaches by where I live only rivers. I am sure you have heard of the Suwannee River, thats just a few miles away. Here is a little tidbit for you, the county I live in has more natural springs then anywhere in the entire world.  Believe it or not I actually drink the water out of the faucet.

This Friday you will get a glimpse of my home studio and some of my storage options on Polymer Clay TV. I am always looking for new ways to store all the crap I have.lol  So make sure to tune in and when we get back from the retreat we will have tons of footage to share with you.

Magic Transfer Paper Discovery Polymer Clay Podcast This Friday

I was playing around recently with our Magic Transfer Paper and wanted to print out some of our new Kaleidotransfers on to the Magic Transfer Paper but I wanted the colors to remain bright. Normally I print the images on to copy paper and take them to the office supply store to have them printed on the Magic Transfer Paper but this time I decided to print the images on to Epson glossy photo paper and wow were the colors bright and crisp. I then took that glossy paper with my images to the copy store for them to be printed on the Magic Transfer Paper and I got the brightest images ever! I was so happy with the results and the colors were almost as brigt as the original. You will see the difference on an upcoming Polymer Clay TV.

This Friday we have a new epsiode of Polymer Clay Podcast and I have no idea what we are talking about yet.lol I do know the Orlando Clay Fandango is coming up soon so we are looking forward to that. Hope to see you there.
