This week we are going to share a cool product with you on polymer Clay TV. Its called PYM 11 which stands for Preserve Your Memories. You can check them out at this link and watch a video on the product as well. http://www.precision-blue.com

I started to play with it as a sealer for my pieces I made with the Glimmer Mists and I really like how fast it dries. I sprayed it outside because it does have a smell to it but I was surprised that it wasn’t really shiny and glossy. I was afraid that it might be really shiny and tacky to the touch but it wasn’t. So far so good. Come back Friday to watch Polymer Clay TV and see what I do with it and find out more about this cool product.

I also am in the process of editing Lynne Ann Schwarzenbergs DVD’s I’m hoping to have one of them completely edited by next month, my fingers are crossed. The other one is going to be a 2 DVD set so that will take a little longer but we will keep you posted on the release date. Stay Tuned!

Kira came up to my place on Saturday and we spent a few days filming a course we will be teaching. We got a whole bunch of molds made that will will be getting in the shop shortly as well. Then on Wed. we headed down to Orlando for the CHA trade show and met up with Jane Zhou at the hotel.  We all piled into Kira’s car and spent the day walking the aisles of the show. This summers show was much smaller then ever, we managed to walk the entire show in one day, which is unheard of.  We spent alot of time at the Viva Decor booth visiting with Lisa Pavelka and watching some demos.I left the following day and Kira and Jane went back to do some make and takes.

If you haven’t heard about the new Pardo polymer clay make sure to watch the show you will be seeing alot of it, they gave us lots of samples to use and I have to say so far I really like it. It requires very little conditioning but still was not mushy and too soft. They says its made with 100% beeswax, which is very interesting. It does not have much smell to it and that should be nice when it comes time to bake my creations. The colors were really nice and some had glittery inclusions already mixed in.

***We also have one of the larger size canisters in a beautiful blue color to give away to one of our lucky listeners and viewers. Want a chance to win it all you have to do is send us an e-mail telling us what you liked or have learned from the show and we will enter you to win. We will draw a name out of a hat and that will be the winner.  Send the e-mail to us with Pardo Giveaway in the subject line of the e-mail and send it to us at   polymerclaypodcast@yahoo.com

We will draw a winner next Monday August 10th. So don’t delay you just may win and get to try out this cool clay. Make sure to come back Friday and hear all about or truip to CHA.

I’m heading down to south, FL tomorrow and I have to say I am not looking forward to the 6 hour drive.lol I am however really looking forward to getting together with Lynne Ann and Tommie to film some DVD’s. It should be a lot of fun. Stay tuned for more news on when Lynne Anns DVD will be available for purchase.

Have a happy and creative week!

This Friday on Polymer Clay TV we will be airing a demo that Christi Friesen did at the Orlando Clay Fandango. Christi did a Steampunk bunny that came out so cute! You will not want to miss this demo, Christi is so fun to watch. You will have to watch the video here on the website or on Itunes to see the entire demo it was so long. Its like taking a class with Christi and we wanted you to see the entire thing. You Tube only allows 10 minutes of video so if you normally watch the show there you won’t be able to see the whole demo so make sure to come here and watch it in its entirety.

Kira and I will be getting together this Sat & Sun to film an upcoming DVD with Jane Zhao. Jane is such a talented artist and is well known for her polymer clay artwork. Jane will be filming many of her flower canes with us and we are really looking forward to it. We are planning a series of polymer clay DVD’s with many well known artists so stay tuned for that these will be demonstrations of things you have never seen before and we will be offering them in DVD as well as downloadable media. Fun fun!
